Ellen DeGeneres has taken a firm stance against inviting President Donald Trump onto her show. She claimed it openly.
Friday, while speaking with the guest on her show Matt Lauer, she said that she has no plans if she would ever invite President Trump on her show.
“I’m not going to change his mind,” Ellen said. “He’s against everything that I stand for. We need to look at someone else who looks different than us and believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them, and still let them have their rights.”
Ellen has invited political figures previously on her show like President Obama and Hillary Clinton. But for President Trump she has taken a firm stand.
Ellen had severly criticized the president’s refugee policy earlier this year on twitter.
“For me, America is great because of all the people who came here. Not in spite of them,” DeGeneres tweeted to her 65 million Twitter followers.

P.S. My grandparents were immigrants. The woman making us pizza right now is Muslim. And I'm grateful for all of them. #NoBan
