President Elect Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence attended the session with Homeland Security. He talked about the serious concern and very important mission of HS.
He praised DHS and talked about law enforcement mission. He said,
” This is a law enforcement agency. For too long your officers and agents have not been allowed to properly do your jobs. You know that, you know that right, absolutely. That is all about the change. I am very happy about it and you are very happy about it.”
Furthermore,
“I am asking all of you to enforce the laws of the United States of America. They’ll be enforced and enforced.”
