Some people believe ghosts could only be intriguing spirits who keep roaming around our houses. However, to some extent that is true but they also terrify us some times intentionally too.
It is very difficult to discern the situation whether a house is haunted or not. A normal person cannot gauge that easily unless an expert helps him out.

We can put this whole thing into three major aspects: sometimes they reveal with so much energy that even the staunch non-believer gives in, sometimes the thinnest of sign further thins the chances and an adept believer might turn out to be a great disbeliever, the third one very tragic, when they become violent and bent upon hurting people. Then the obvious thing is someone who has been under the spell cant get away with ease.

Demonic Haunting is mostly related to negative consequences. They are absolutely negative in nature. They might traumatize or horrify you to their best. They infuse negative energy into human life.
How To Recognize The Sings if You or House Being Haunted
When demon haunts for the first time you might see or feel the following things:
#1 Unrecognizable Sounds: footsteps without a face, doors clasping or windows shuddering, certain whispers, fainted voices speaking in your head etc.
#2 Sighting The Unobvious: Displaced objects, appearance of shadows with a moratorium, electronic malfunctioning (what drama they show in movies relates to real situations) and most importantly dark figures that seem just an imagination.
#3 The Strange Feelings: A feeling that you are being watched, wrongness around you, unnecessary coldness and the touch.
#4 Filthy Smells: These smells could vary, they could be appealing or annoying.
#5 Recurring Nightmares: Nightmare you see are not without a reason. They are behind them.
#6 Suffocation and Bruises: You might feel severe weight on you in bed or sometimes bruises that you cannot recall the time you got.
#7 Dreading Discomfort: The unexplainable uneasiness and dreading that make you feel there is something grave than this.
#8 When The Spirit Reveals: They reveal themselves to some members but generally they focus on a single individual. It could be a child. As you hear about neighbor’s child having imaginary friends.
#9 Social Alienation: The alienation from family and friends. Showing less interest in activities that were loved once.
#10 Secludedness and Occult: The person may want to be left alone or show certain interest in the occult objects.

NOTE: It depends upon the time they have been around you. They gradually intensify because they would definitely make you feel their presence around you.
