Charlotte Harrison bought an Emu egg on eBay for $30 and she was uncertain about its hatching. However, after the passage of 47 days the egg hatched and she named the baby “Kevin.”
She had placed the egg in the incubator for a month until it hatched on 5th January.
She was very much careful and was attracted to it, she told this to Mirror, ““I sat there for four hours making squeaks and whistles to coax him out.”
That was the chief thing that sparked the natural love in Kevin for her. They shared a very cordial bond of love. Emu being the second largest bird in the world after Ostrich has been quite waddling around the house and she liked each segment of that and he is growing well with every passing day.
This little bird adores Charlotte so much that he nearly looks like thinking that she is his mother.
She would have a better bet than the one she went for by buying the egg.
