Mr Poole said,”Given Trump and his (business) background, a boycott seems an appropriate method of getting the point across that his actions are beyond the bounds of what are acceptable (they are frankly disgraceful) and possibly the only means of protesting that might actually get that through to him.
‘It’s not easy to do, given the range of products that the US produces and the number of US companies operational in the UK.
‘But there are alternatives, for example Costa is UK owned,”Speaking to Metro.
There have been calls to boycott American products recently after Donald Trump’s refugee ban from 7 Muslim countries excluding those where his business interests are, and also it bars people entering the US if they are coming from seven Muslim countries.

A group in UK that supports the idea of boycotting US products to send a clear message to Donald Trump that what he has just signed is morally unacceptable.
‘Much of his campaign centred around building up US based industries. As much as I don’t want to see ordinary American people hurt, threatening to boycott US products is perhaps the only way the world can make Trump listen and realise that what he is doing is simply not acceptable.”
‘You don’t have to drink cola – nothing wrong with water or orange juice – and probably better for you as well.
‘With a little thought you could come up with alternatives to most things – Samsung phones instead of Apple, VW cars instead of Ford, holidays in Cancun instead of Florida to name a few.’
In terms of what he hopes to achieve, he said:
‘If Trump rescinds the entry ban on people from certain countries entering the US then that would be a good result.
‘If you think about it Saudi Arabia is not on that list, when the 9/11 terrorists were from there as was Osama bin Laden.
‘Why is that? That demonstrates a serious flaw in his actions and that this restriction on entry has little if anything to do with protecting Americans.’
